Board of Trustees 

  • John Montague 

John has worked in the social business and impact sector for 25 years. During that time, he has had the privilege of working with many inspirational and impact-driven organizations. He is currently involved in the social impact sector, supporting charities and social businesses to develop their impact and sustainability. Previously, he held director roles at Big Issue Invest and other social businesses. John currently holds trustee roles with Circle Community and STEPS Conductive Education, as well as a number of non-executive board positions. He is passionate about creating opportunities for those who are disadvantaged in society. 

  • Rebecca Butler 

Rebecca Butler has spent over 25 years in the Financial Services industry, beginning her career at KPMG as a qualified chartered accountant. She then spent 19 years at UBS in a number of Finance and Operational Risk roles before making the transition into Surveillance in 2014.  Rebecca has spent the last 3 years as Head of NatWest Group Surveillance, specialising in market abuse and conduct surveillance.  Rebecca first volunteered for Circle Community as a corporate volunteer in 20xx before joining our Board. 

  • Rebecca Tyson 

Rebecca Tyson is currently a VP Strategy at Rowden Technologies. Her prior experience includes working as the Chief Operating Officer of International Equities at Citadel and in various strategy and operational roles at Morgan Stanley. Her work has focused on building high performing teams, driving efficiencies and shaping scalable operational functions.   

  • Denis Denisov

Denis is a Senior Management Accountant at Landsec, one of the UK’s leading property companies, where he leads the Turnover Rent team and manages a diverse portfolio of properties across the country. He began his career in the post room and, while studying and gaining experience across several roles, worked his way up to become a Senior Management Accountant. He is currently working towards his ACCA qualification. 

Denis first joined Circle Collective in 2013 as a young jobseeker, and the charity has been a meaningful part of his journey ever since. In 2023, he proudly became a trustee. Having experienced the impact of the charity first-hand, Denis is passionate about helping young people into employment and finds it incredibly rewarding to support others on a similar path.

Outside of work, Denis is a keen swimmer and plays football on weekends. He also comes from a big family and spends much of his time helping to look after them.
